Vintage Markson Model 20 Digital Thermometer. Government Version of TC100? - $50 - (Borger, TX)
This listing is for a Markson Science Model 20 Digital Thermometer. It came with an instruction sheet for the model TC100, which it looks identical to. This leads us to wonder whether the Model 20 was a re-badge version of the TC100, for sale to government customers. Surplus from a government lab. Prior to listing it was powered on using a 9V battery (not included) and we saw a reading that broadly agreed with the thermostat in our studio. No further testing was performed. Due to the limited testing and because vintage components can fail at any time it is sold as-is, officially "for parts or not working" though it may work fine, may be faulty but repairable or may be shot - we just don't know! Listing is for the unit only with no accessories. In fair cosmetic condition with scuffs, scratches, marks or specks of old foam rubber. This is the only one on the market with photographic proof of testing - don't let it get away!
