Includes a heavy duty solidly built mostly oak loom with a rack of warp that provides a continues feed with no rewarping required (just add a new spool of warp thread). There is a metal brake at the back of the loom which allows tension on the warp threads. I used this system for a line of heavy weft face wool rugs that I sold at high end craft shows. It can also be used for a rag rug set up. The loom is a 4 harness counterbalance much like a Gilmachra standard except heavier duty. The sale price also includes the creole rack at back of loom (with several hundred dollars of 8/4 carpet warp) and a loom bench with a roller seat. Included also is an assortment (approx. 20) stick and boat shuttles, a yarn swift, a warping board, and some miscellaneous wool yarn as well as the cotton carpet warp. I have some weaving books and a temple (which I never needed because with the warp coming directly off the spools you always have perfect tension). This item is located in Franklin, WV. Pick-up Only.
