Antique Running Horse weathervane 44 inch estate find w directional copper zinc - $4,500 - (Warner, NH)

This is a large running horse weathervane out of a local estate. The horse is large being 44 inches long and having a height of 20 inches. This has the original directional that appears to have been spot welded at the pole. The whole thing is large. Made of copper with a Zinc or cast brass head it is beautiful 19thC vane. Someone had overpainted it with radiator paint which I have been able to mostly scrup off revealing a great patina with green and worn gold gilt. The horse can be mailed soon at a cost of $100. through the US mail however the directional would need to be shipped by the mover I use and would cost $150 but take some time to be delivered.
