Dimensions:3 5/8" x 1 3/4"3 5/8" Etley Mozarkite, from Cooper Co, Missouri. It was found by Richard Whittle. The point is brightly colored with abundant mineral deposits on both blade faces. The material is found in the Cotter Dolomite of Ordovician age, which means the chert is some 450 million years old. The name is formed from Mo (Missouri), zark (Ozarks), and ite (meaning rock ) -Mozarkite. The base is anciently snapped. It is a handful. I have the shipping.
