Anitque EAPG Model Flint Glass Co Planet Decanter Circa 1899 - $15 - (Grayson, KY)

This EAPG Planet pattern decanter is circa 1899 and was made by Model Flint Glass Co. This piece is in good condition, yet does have a few flaws. The first being this is not the original stopper. It is old and does glow under black light. There is some cloudiness which will probably clear up with a good cleaning. There is a place just under where the stopper ends inside the glass that appears cracked, but this could possibly be a flaw when manufactured. Also a place on the handle that looks cracked all the way through, however others have this exact same flaw. It stands 7 1/2" H without stopper. This is a lovely addition to an EAPG collection!
