Classroom CERT Training - Marathon - April 13th and 14th - N.A. - (Marathon, FL)
This is a two-day classroom training event. MUST ATTEND BOTH DAYS The Monroe Emergency Reserve Corps will conduct Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training sessions. PLEASE NOTE! All 3 (3) CERT training (Classroom, On-line, and Hands-On) in addition to registering with Monroe County as a volunteer are necessary for you to be issued a re-entry placard that allows you priority entry post-evacuation. On-line training can be done at https://training.fema.gov/is/courseoverview.aspx?code=is-317. You will need to bring a copy of the certificate of completion to the class. The purpose of the re-entry placard is to assist your community as a 2nd tier responder. The Monroe Emergency Reserve Corps is a volunteer CERT group supporting the Monroe County Office of Emergency Management.
