This unit is for Heating and Cooling. Our new air to water heat pump enables you to take advantage of the energy efficiency of today’s heat pump technology without the cost of refrigerant line installation that comes with your typical “mini-split.” The HP95 is designed to keep producing heat down to -13° F outdoors for those cold nights, and in the summer is instantly convertible to a chiller to turn the same fan coil units that you use for heat into air conditioners and dehumidifiers. Annual COP is about 3.5 in colder climates. Better in more temperate ones. Maximum output temperature is 131° F. Maximum heat output is 32,000 btus/hr. As with all heat pumps, that will drop with colder outdoor temperatures. Cooling capacity is 23,800 btus/hr. Unit operates on 240vac 30a circuit. It operates a 240v circulator directly from the heat pump. When the unit comes on, it turns on the circulator. Whether you’re installing a new heating system or replacing that expensive and oversized oil furnace in your basement, the HP95 gives you the flexibility of running water in traditional copper or PEX pipes to distribute heat through your building. The HP95 works great with radiant floors to maintain a comfortable and efficient base heating load, and can also be used with our fan coil units to provide fast on-demand heat. This unit is ideal for radiant heated slabs. It will also work well with properly sized radiant panels. We offer quiet fan convectors for retrofit installations.
