This Qajar era Painting of a persian woman , late 19th/early 20th century , dressed in a blue bejeweled and embroidered jacket and pink skirt ,within astage background and standitg on a persian carpet strumming the instrument "Seh Tar" Signed to bottom left by "Ragham talebi" the painting bears the worlds "Golnesa Khatoon" above left and right shoulders of the standing figure , meaning "Lady Golnesa" in the Persian Folklore "Golnesa" has been referred to a village beauty sought by the village brave men desires to marry her . Though in its absolute original condition ,there are age related hair line cracks in the paint and no damage , chips or touchups anywhere. The painting is hung in a frame and the canvas measures : 56"tall x 37"wide
