Antique Collection c1770 Revolutionary War 18th Century Silver Shoe Buckles CT - $1,800 - (Poultney, VT)

Up for purchase is a beautiful lot of various revolutionary war era shoe, stock and knee buckles, not dug but discovered in an estate cleanout in NH. They are all in rare excellent condition and were kept on cotton in a small cardboard jewelry box. This collection is in much better condition than some I have seen in museums! Two of the buckles have marks of a CT maker active in 1774. Most of the buckles are iron but the largest and smallest are sterling silver. I am not an expert in this area and am going on research and advice from antiques people. From a non-smoking home. Please ask questions and/or request further photos if interested.
