VINTAGE COLT SAA MAKER MARKED BEN VARGA SAN ANTONIO TEXAS WESTERN HOLSTER - $285 - (Teague, TX)

This is a vintage holster from a great maker out of San Antonio, Texas. The maker used heavy duty saddle leather and thread. It will fit the Colt Single Action 4 3/4” very nicely. It has been modified by someone to fit their needs. I believe it originally had a skirt on the back that has been removed. The top has been cut. Someone has added a belt clip on the back that I know is not original and is ugly. They may have added the belt clip on the front, then moved it so it could be a left handed or right handled holster. This is still a nice looking holster from a great maker which has been modified by at least one person for their use.
