Retronix R800 bass - $800 - (Emmetsburg, IA)
Serial Number: 103 (possibly; this number is the only number on the instrument). Year: 2013 Original HSC. I purchased this on Reverb. The three coil pickups provide multiple tone settings. If I were to guess, I would say this bass was made in Indonesia. The Reverb seller’s description follows. J. Backlund Designed Retronix R800 4 string bass guitar with hardcase in near new factory original condition. Instrument plays and sounds fantastic. Bass features maple & walnut laminated neck and mahogany body, 1 1/2"nut, 34" full size scale length, Stainless Steel frets, 5-way proprietary switching system with proprietary 3 single coil bass pickups, excellent fit and finish, excellent playability. This instrument has been kept inside its case and has been very well maintained. I purchased this high-quality bass brand new back in 2014 from J. Backlund Designs and have played it only occasionally since then. Instrument has very minor handling wear and looks and plays like new.
