sixth plate ambrotype of post mortem child with flowers - half case - $275 - (Torrington, WY)

Here is a nice sixth plate ambrotype in a half case depicting a young child who is deceased and holding flowers. A very sad image as the eyes are still open. Not my favorite type of image, but an important photograph of a loved one. Honeycombing to the image, but it is stable and won't be a problem in the future.
