1956 1957 AMI G-120 Jukebox Multi Horn High Fidelity Delivery? WI IL IN KY OH MO - $750 - (Rochester, MN)
This auction is for a 1956 or 1957 AMI G-120 Jukebox. I am not sure what year it is, but I think they only made this particular model in either 1956 or 1957. I bought it at an auction, got it home, and it didn't work. I took it to a juke box repair expert to get it fixed. He opened it up and the insides were empty. I paid him to collect and install all of the parts necessary to get it playing, which he did. I know most of the internal parts are vintage, but some are modern. Anyway, when he was finished, everything worked great. (I did tape a little weight on the stylus to get it to track better a while ago.) This winter, the selector buttons quit functioning. You can still manually select the records under the covers and they will play just fine. That's what I've been doing. I've had this juke box several years and have put around $1000 into it, including the purchase price. I am to the point now, that rather than investing any more money trying to get the selector buttons working again, it's time for me to move on. So, I am putting it up for sale. It plays up to 120 songs and I will include over 50 records, so you can enjoy listening as soon as you buy it. The dimensions are roughly 63"H x 37"W x 26"D, and it's heavy. I am not sure of the exact weight, but it's heavy. If you put it on a hard surface, it rolls around very easily, but it's heavy. Did I mention that it's heavy? I have it listed as "Pickup Only", but we may be able to work something out. I am trying to organize a trip between Rochester, Minnesota and the Ohio/Kentucky area.
