Add Me to Your Favorite Sellers Olivia's Vintage would like to present this original 1963 Gibson Firebird V in its original Sunburst finish. It has a great playing neck with great frets as it has been refretted. It's all original with the exception of the frets, the nut, one of the bridge saddles, and some redone solder on one of the volume pots. It's also 100% complete along with its original hardshell case. This early version of the reverse Firebird looks great with some nicks + dings, belt buckle wear, and other cosmetic wear. It's also marked as a factory 2nd, possibly because Gibson failed to spray the inside of the control cavity silver. The guitar itself remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. All electronics work and sound great. The solder on the cover for the neck position pickup was undone to remove the pickup cover at one point in time. For the safety of the guitar, the tuners will be removed and wrapped during shipping. All Illinois residents please add 8.75% sales tax.
