Add Me to Your Favorite Sellers Olivia's Vintage would like to present this 1971 Fender Jazz Bass in its original Sunburst finish. It has a good playing neck with great frets. It's all original with the exception of a new nut for the truss rod, and 100% complete along with its original hardshell case, key to the case, both chrome covers, original owner's manual, and original inspection tag. It's in EXCELLENT condition with only a few very minor nicks + dings, finish damage underneath the bridge cover, and other extremely minor cosmetic wear including some areas of extremely light impressions in the surface of the finish on the back and sides of the body (this bass was used with an original Fender Body Guard on the body when it was new). The bass itself remains structurally sound with no cracks or breaks. The threading on the end of the truss rod was worn out and has been redone as it is slightly more narrow than originally. A proper slightly smaller nut for the truss rod adjustment has been added to fit the new dependable threading and the truss rod works great. All electronics work and sound great while all solder joints remain original and untampered with. All Illinois residents please add 8.75% sales tax.
