This system is in good cosmetic condition, I picked this up myself from the department of homeland security's office where it was being used. Engineers said they got new equipment, this and many other items i got from there, were no longer needed. This was one of 3 lasers mounted to a $580k custom Adaptek laser marking system made for making identification cards for immigration and DHS. This laser features:- 20 watt output power- Excellent laser beam quality- 230v single phase main power- No external cooling water- Long working life diodes- Laser type: Nd:YVO4r 1064 diode pumped- Modular compact PCI-PC controller - Raylase TS-10 [y] D2/D1055 laser head with changeable lens.This laser is 10 years old but that is at the fraction of its original price All you will need to do for this machine is either install a hard drive with windows xp and install the marking software or just replace the computer. Per government (homeland security) rules, the hard drive was taken out of the Adaptek system and out of all the the computer back plane of laser systems. I do have the disk but these machines were being run on XP. So you will need to install and configure a hard drive on this machine, install windows xp then the fobagrapf application software. You may need to get the bios on the computer reconfigured. Because of the sensitivity of what this was being used for and all that they were configured for, the bios have been set on video and bios shadow and are not recognizing hard drive or DVD drive. As i've mentioned you can just change the computer on it. You may not even need the computer on it depends on what you're buying it for. Regardless, you've been informed.
