VINTAGE MAKER MARKED E. M. BACON GLOBE ARIZ. LEATHER WESTERN SADDLE BAGS REDUCED - $285 - (Teague, TX)
PRICE REDUCTION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a pair of old west saddle bags from E. M. Bacon out of Globe Arizona. The makers mark is in a circle and says "E. M. BACON GLOBE ARIZ" with a large B in the middle and is located at the top of the bags. This is a old pair of saddle bags from the Old West. The E. M. BACON brand was founded by Ed Bacon and his son Earl to help supply the miners in Gila County. This Bacon's Boots and Saddles has the distinction of being the longest continually run business in Gila County. The maker used heavy duty saddle leather to make these bags, that weigh close to 5 lbs. The measure approximately 12" long and 11 1/2" wide. The bottom of the bags shows some wear probably from being on the ground at night. There may have been some form of lining on the back of the bags. This is a neat pair of western saddle bags from the Bacon Saddlery out of Globe, Arizona.
