1989 JLG 40H Boom Lift-Needs work - $3,500 - (Nemaha, IA)
Needs work. I bought this in the fall of 2015 and used it for one year. I let it set for a few weeks last fall and then when I tried to switch the motor from ground to boom controls the engine would die. Probably just a wire grounded out but I'm no electrician and we don't have a local JLG dealer to fix it. The basket rotation needs a gear replaced and will not swing. The brass gear is stripped out, shouldn't be a hard fix. I've only run this on gas but it does have the dual guel option for propane. No LP tank so I've never tried it. I don't have time to work on this and have rented a machine to finish my project. Ford 4 cyl, dual fuel, 2 sec boom, hyd rotation. May be able to find a shipper. Will help load.
