This auction is for a one of a kind soldier bear created by teddy artist Sally-Ann Simmons-Winsome & Wild Artist Bears.Tommy is dressed to represent the Australian Light Horse Uniform - Military Uniforms of the British Empire overseas.Tommy is 8" tall when standing.He prefers to sit - as you can see, he has injured his leg in the war and his wound has been dressed by the nurse bear seen in the picture. She is available in a separate auction.Tommy will bring his wooden crutch and his paper hang tags to his new home.I purchased Tommy and the nurse direct from the artist.They have resided in my smoke free home in a closed curio.It is time for me to downsize my collection so Tommy and the nurse are looking for a new home.It would be great if they could stay together.
