Antique Hassam Boston Bowie Knife - $7,500 - (Covington, TX)

Marked "Hassam Boston" in small type. According to Flayderman, this stamp was used from 1849-1856. The massive Blade is 8-5/8" long x !-5/8" wide and 3/8" thick. The heavy knife is 14" overall in length. A nearly identical Bowie is pictured in Flayderman's Bowie knife book page 322.
