RARE-VINTAGE PEPSI METAL SIGN-1949 - $550 - (Quincy, IL)
Here is a real pip of a pepsi sign. This is an original 1949 pepsi advertising sign. this particular one is a little more rare and hard to find. this sign has some scratches and the left corner has a slight ding, like it has been dropped on the edge. see photos. It also has a pretty good scratch right on the red pepsi on the largest cap. it is not real noticeable unless you are looking for it. but overall it is in great collectible shape. It is not rusted anywhere. and clear on the left side where the yellow and blue merge there is a pretty good scratch. this may have been hung years ago in a store, and someone pulled it from the nail holding it and bent the corner. this is an interesting sign and very nostalgic for me. I have owned it for a long time, but, selling off a lot of my wonderful collectibles to help with my move. Size is approx. 28 in wide by 10 1/2 in wide. there are photos of the back,no rust, but signs of wear and use, etc. but, still for displaying this is really a nice sign and anice looking one with the bottle caps all in a row trailing off at the rear.
