1/6 Dag Man Wearing Military Medal - Looks Like a Pre Civil War General Grant - $25,000 - (Woodinville, WA)

Original 6th plate, circa 1850-52 daguerreotype of an intense looking man wearing some type of medal or badge. Excellent condition with original, intact seals and no damage. My scan (pic #1) shows what it looks like without reflections. Glass is a little dirty, but the spots appear to be all, or almost all, on the underside of the glass.. some of them are possibly tiny mold spiders. Case is complete with a repaired spine.
