I Acquired this incredible trophy coin from Bill Pearson, owner of Forecastle treasures, and one of the biggest Atocha collectors in the treasure community. Atocha Shipwreck: Grade 2: Cartagena 8 Reales Silver cob. Assayer A, 1621(obverse shows bottom of 2 and part of 1). Up until 25 years ago, It was not known that 1621 Cartagena's existed. There are 5 known, I believe Pearson owns the other 4. In effect, this is a discovery coin, and an important part of Numismatic as well as Spanish Colonial history.
