40IN DIA O'Hara E6 OPTICAL GLASS TELESCOPE MIRROR BLANK - $39,000 - (Wendel, PA)

Large 40" diameter x 6" thick, OHARA E6 Glass. This was used as a reference mirror. It is uncoated (currently has a temporary tarnished spray silver on both sides that can easily be stripped).Side one (S1) is finished Spherical to approx. 1/10 wave at 178.250". Side 2 (S2) is finished to approx. 1/2 wave Parabolic F/3.9 (radius 313.50", FL 156.75"). Original interferograms are available.Original Sales order copy from OHARA available. This could be used as an optical reference, OR for a blank substrate to fabricate a different optical part.
