Vintage Gibson GA 20 Amplifier, Amp 1956 - $1,100 - (Carnelian Bay, CA)

Beautiful 1956 Gibson GA-20. Gibson's answer to the Fender Deluxe of the day. Tolex is the two tone brown and "rug" type. Amp has the following updated features, new handle, three prong cord and weber 12" vintage style speaker. Tolex is in fair condition with worst pictured. Amp is probably 12-16watts. Runs quietly as it should, minimal cap replacement, new pics.Output transformer now mounted to speaker baffle, (no mounting holes on the Weber speaker) Breaks up like a deluxe at higher volumes. Own a tweed era amp at half the price! Missing the 20 logo that would be under the gibson logo on the front, missing the tail end of the "N" on gibson as shown.
