Nurse Pracioner Family Practice | JOB- We are seeking a nurse pracioner or physician istant with an adventurous spirit to join the group of Rural health aide trainers and educators to the Alaskan villages. This Community Health Aide program (CHAP ) was developed in 1960 to combat the many health concerns , tuberculosis epidemic and infant mortality. This need is for a provider that can train and teach the CHA's that are in this program to be able to provide care to the village once their training is complete. The CHAP provider will divide their time (70%) in educating the prospective CHA's and 30% providing health services to the villages that they visit. A unique opportunity that is truly a job that will impact many lives. This location is just a short flight from Anchorage and full of activists for an adventurer's dream in an outdoors person's paradise. Outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, boating and climbing.
