#5 Carbonel French Nativity santon camel lying down with packs - discontinued - $74 - (Southern Pines, NC)

I think that this camel is from the #5 series. He is about 5 and 1/2 Inches long, with the base being about 2 inches at its widest. He weighs over 10 ounces and is in excellent condition. Marcel Carbonel is incised into the grass on one side. The current Carbonel web site does not list any camels for the #5 series. I try to include a number of views, so please see pictures for details of condition. All of the rest of my santons are the #2 series, in which the tallest figure is 7 cm (2 and 3/4ths inches), with the other figures in proportion. I have been collecting santons for 30-35 years and will be selling my entire collection of many santons and animals.
