Husfliden Bergen Hand Knit Sweater from Norway Norge - $80 - (Mount Shasta, CA)
This lovely sweater was a recent thrifting find. It is in very good condition and so well made. The buttons are nice, heavy metal and all there. There are no worn stitches or pulls. I couldn't believe that some one gave up this beauty. There are two very light stains. One on the front left panel toward the bottom (see photo) and one on the inside button placket that you can't see if the sweater is buttoned (see photo of open buttons). I really loved the white sweater with blue design. Very traditional, and well done. The armpit to armpit measurement is about 19 inches. The length including the collar is about 24 inches. The sleeve length is about 18 inches. The tag calls out Husfliden, Bergen as the place of manufacture in Norway (Norge) This has been washed, line dried and steam-pressed. Payment with Paypal only.
